Mandelac is a line of products formulated with Mandelic acid, especially recommended for sensitive skin or skin that is intolerant to other Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs).

Mandelic acid, also known as amygdalic acid or 2-Phenylglyoxylic acid, is an AHA derived from the hydrolysis of bitter almond extract.

It's commonly used for the treatment of photo-aging, irregular pigmentation, non-cystic inflammatory acne and for preparing the skin before and after laser resurfacing.

It is suitable for sensitive skin, since its large molecule size slows down penetration through the stratum corneum, without causing itching or irritation.
